Eng-lish

I am inspired to write something about improving English as we are somehow all learning and improving our English. Someone stuck their English levels in the place that is their levels in high schools. We just need the RIGHT methods to do it.

1.Read or watch what you like
This is very crucial when you learn. You will end up reading pages after pages or watching till the end of the season when you are eager to know more. No matter it is about self-improving methods or relationships, read/watch what you have interest in, for the sake of yourself! This will help you gain vocabularies after you have done this for quite a while. For me, I have learn the word 'vulnerable' by watching Matthew Hussey's youtube videos (he's said it a few times in his videos, so I learnt that!). By the way, his videos have some great advices on dating and life. This video dedicated to teenagers is amazing!

2.Challenge yourself a bit
Imagine you are in a bookstore and you have found the going-to-be-your-favourite book. You can't wait to get your hands on the book and enjoy. There are definitely some vocabularies you don't know. This is what you do: read the book without using the dictionary. You will know the meanings of those words by context, in some ways.

3.Write a blog
When you write something and it is going to be published, your writing will 'flow like a river'. That is, fluency. This will definitely improve how you write and that will somehow help improving your grades in college! (If you are in a major which involves lots of writing, this is going to help you A LOT!) If you still hesitate about it, read this. The most important point is to write what you love, again. That leads to point number 4...

4.Think in english in your head
When you are writing in English for your blog, it is more likely to let yourself think in English. I am simply speaking English in my head when I write this article.

The conclusion is just to do what you love when you learn and progress. And challenge yourself a bit! Now grab a movie or book and enjoy your day. :)
